Default Lornar's Pass - Need help!

Been playing NF for about 3 months and finally got Proph (and Factions). Just started on Proph and been basically running my ranger around. I want to get to Drok's and have been trying to fight my way down with heros/henchies (btw: level 10?! - wtf?). All my guys are leveled with maxed out weaps, runes/insignias, etc. - I can get through most areas w/o problems. But, I am totally stuck at that southern part of Lornar's, almost to the next zone. This has been one of the hardest areas I've played so far (alone). I've been to U/W and FoW with humans/heros, but that's with 8 people. The problem is you get rez'd way back up at Beacon's Perch, which SUCKS! Knowing you're running back with -60%dp, all the waaaay back down to where you got wiped is so friggin' frustrating. Used up all my clovers, suppose I can buy more but too late once you're into it ... The area I'm stuck in is where that necro boss is with all of the killer dwarve monsters. I'm pretty sure this is quite close to the next zone which makes it that much more frustrating! What I did during my 3-hour attempt to get past this area was keep to planting Dunkoro (for rebirth purposes) way back away from aggro then keep pulling the boss to us, but with 3 ( - Dunkoro) lev 20's at 60%dp (and comprimised energy levels) and quickly dead lame-duck henchies - it's been quite the effort as the big mob won't break themselves up. To make things worse the stupid boss gets almost killed the mob rushes. Some clever programmers behind this one . One silver lining though, is that once everything on the way down has been killed (during that session), the run back is easy - if you manage to avoid the little frost wurm area!!! Does anyone have help/advice based on your experience. Would appreciate it.

TIA, ign --> Argeris of Melmat (R/whatever)

How does this level cap business make sense if mobs are allowed to exceed it--that's what I'd really like to know and appreciate now if someone would explain enough to me??
Because monsters are stupid. Learn to exploit their AI and you can easily take on 6+ level 24's with your lv 20 at a time.

Get a full team of people, pay a runner, or play through the game normally. You are not supposed to be able to fight from Beacons down - the areas are balanced for an 8 man party of level 20's. You can clear it without a big deal from Camp Rankor going up.

The end of the that zone is no where NEAR close to droks yet, not even half way. If you want to skip a large section of the game get to the Temple of Ages (you can go there from Lion's Arch) and go south to Sanctum Cay, go to the desert and Ascend, go through one more mission and then you are in Droknar's Forge.

But, since you do not seem to know what is going on yet I highly suggest you just progress normally once. You are going to hit a fairly hard brick wall if you skip large sections without knowing what is going on.

monsters have mo brains or strategy mostly, so they give them higher lvls and (especially in later nf) more damagaing skills, and put them in mobs. so it balances them out.
